Konecranes has acquired the nuclear service and port service businesses of Coapsa Control Sl, a specialist in crane services based in Viladecavalls, Spain. The value of the acquisition, which supports Konecranes’ strategy to expand its Industrial and Ports Services businesses, is not being disclosed.
With the acquisition, effective from July 1, Konecranes expands its Spanish port and industrial service network with a competent and experienced team at the new location in Viladecavalls.

Coapsa Control Sl is specialised in crane services for nuclear and port customers including inspections, preventive maintenance, service, repairs and modernisations. The company was founded in 1997, with annual sales of approximately EUR 4 million and some 20 employees.
