Under the new structure, the WAX network will be organised into three dedicated loops, with the launch of two new services — WAX1 and WAX2 — complementing the existing WAX3 service.
The reconfiguration is intended to improve schedule reliability, reduce transit times and increase capacity, while strengthening connectivity to key Central West African markets.
The enhanced structure allows CMA CGM to better serve the Central Range while maintaining seamless links between Asia, West Africa and onward trade lanes.
The revised WAX configuration reinforces CMA CGM’s long-term commitment to the West African market, supporting customer growth through improved service consistency and expanded network coverage.
