The Port of Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of 47.4Mt, of which 46.6Mt was iron ore exports. This was a five percent increase compared to August 2025.

Imports through the Port of Port Hedland totalled 179,000 tonnes, a decrease of two percent compared to August 2025.Â
The Port of Dampier delivered a total throughput of 14.8Mt, an eight per cent decrease from August 2025.
Imports through the Port of Dampier totalled 117,000 tonnes, resulting in a two percent increase from August 2025.
