UK-company QuayQuip comment on the fender market in light of the economic downturn.

The port industry has demanded versatility, something that has proved easier to achieve for small firms than their older, monolithic competitors. This has been borne out as smaller firms have thrived while the 'big names' have been on the wane for several years. Has there been a downturn? Mike Harrison of QuayQuip answers, 'Yes, many large projects have been postponed or cancelled. However other ports are taking advantage of lower construction costs to make long-term investments in their infrastructure.
